Aspiring computer artists can apply to EdCC camp
High school students interested in creating their own
computer-generated art and animation are invited to
apply to a summer arts and animation camp offered by the
University of Washington-Bothell and Edmonds Community
College.
The camp includes five credits of college computer
science.
The program is free as part of the Sprite Project, a
National Science Foundation project that aims to spark
interest in science, math and technology.
Students entering ninth through 12th grades can
apply. The camp will meet at EdCC weekdays July 10-21.
No computer experience is needed.
Early consideration will be offered to those applying
by Sunday, though applications will be accepted until
June 6.
