STUDENTS
Learn how animation is done and try it yourself in a fun, relaxed, team atmosphere. Learn how to create simple computer animations and games and add sound, music and video effects to your work.
PARENTS
The Arts and Animation camp provides a great opportunity for your child to participate in a safe, fun, free, and edu¬cational summer day camp. Your child will be introduced to the art and computer concepts needed for them to learn how to create their own characters, animations, and games. Classes will be taught by college faculty, with guest speakers and mentors from the professional arts and computer community. There is no cost to the student, and a daily lunch is provided. The camp is funded by a grant from the National Science Foundation, which believe that providing a curriculum that integrates art, music, computer animation, and science can enhance the interest of young students in pursuing careers in science and technology. Your child will also meet representatives of local colleges and universities.
